Potato Book allows users to manually enter their financial data. We do not access bank accounts or

perform any automated financial operations.

• Savings or budget entries

• User-added notes

2.3 Device and Usage Information

Automatically collected technical data may include:

• Device type and operating system

• IP address• App performance analytics

• Crash logs or error reports

Your information is stored securely in encrypted cloud servers provided by Firebase (Google Cloud). Data

is transmitted using HTTPS/TLS encryption on all connections between the app and our servers.

4.2 Protection Measures

• Encrypted data transfer (SSL/HTTPS) on all connections

• Phone-based one-time password (OTP) authentication for account access

• Controlled internal access to user data

• Regular monitoring for vulnerabilities

While no system is completely immune to security risks, we follow standard protective practices.

5.1 Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate the app, including:• Firebase (Google) for authentication, database storage, and push notifications

• RevenueCat for subscription and purchase management

• OpenAI for the in-app AI assistant feature

These partners follow strict confidentiality and data protection requirements. Data shared with them is

limited to what is necessary to provide their respective services.

We may disclose data if required by law, judicial process, or government authorities.

When you delete your account, your personal data and financial entries are permanently removed from our

systems within 30 days of the deletion being processed. Anonymised, non-identifiable usage data may be

retained beyond this period for fraud prevention and legal compliance purposes only.

You may request data deletion at any time. See Section 11 for details on how to do this.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The app may use local storage and performance tracking tools to improve functionality. These

technologies help us understand how the app is used so we can make it better. Users may manage

permissions through device settings.

9. Children and Minor Users

Potato Book is available to users aged 12 and above. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 may use the

app to track personal budgets and expenses. The app does not contain advertising, age-restricted content,

or features designed to collect sensitive information beyond what is needed to provide the

expense-tracking service.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a user under

13 has created an account, we will remove their data promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has

registered, please contact us at the address in Section 12.

Data handling for users aged 13 to 17

For users in this age group, we collect and use data in the same way as for adult users.

Specifically:

• We collect a phone number, name, and optionally an email address for account creation and login.

• We collect expense and budget entries that the user types in manually.

• We do not use any of this data for advertising or profiling.

• We do not share this data with third parties for marketing purposes.

• We do not use behavioural tracking or targeted advertising on any user, including minors.

• Financial data entered by minor users is stored securely and is only accessible to that user's account.

Parents or guardians who wish to request the deletion of a minor user's account and data may do so by

contacting us at the address in Section 12 or by following the in-app account deletion process described in

Section 11.

10. Third-Party Links

The app may contain links to third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or

content of these external platforms. Users should review third-party privacy policies before engaging with

them.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Revisions will be indicated by the "Last Updated"

date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised

policy.
